As the president of Red Whisk Creative, Catherine is the dynamic and creative force that brings all the ingredients together. She is an expert at clarifying client’s business challenges and supporting them with comprehensive planning and implementation targeted at delivering a measurable return on investment. With over 20 years of experience in the areas of strategic and tactical marketing, Catherine is an interactive leader with first-rate interpersonal skills that motivates and supports both team members and clients. She has an English writing degree from DePauw University and has led corporate marketing teams in manufacturing, customer service and nonprofit settings, specifically clients such as corporate and commercial fitness centers and Jewish Community Centers over the past 15 years. Specialties include: client relationships, strategic marketing, internal and external communications and marketing measurement.
Fun Fact: Catherine’s passions include cooking, entertaining, traveling and running. Her favorite international city - thus far - is Florence, Italy.
Michelle has over 20 years experience in marketing. Her start in finance and sales shaped her marketing career, driving a passion to show that marketing can and should realize a return on investment. Michelle helps companies create sales and marketing programs that will drive sales and differentiate them in the market place. Within the past 10 years, the growth of digital marketing as a critical component of the total marketing strategy has nicely aligned with Michelle’s passion for marketing. At Red Whisk, Michelle helps clients use digital marketing to drive their sales and business goals.
Fun Fact: Michelle is an avid runner, competing in ½ marathons, team relays, and her newest find - trail running. When her children are grown, she hopes to take her racing to areas outside of the midwest as a means to explore the outdoors across our great nation.
“Clark” has developed and executed leading-edge digital marketing and communications strategies for Fortune 500 companies, major trade organizations and a variety of businesses and individuals since 2001. He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a B.A. in Mass Communications/PR (minor in Marketing). Specialties include: internet public affairs, issues management, search engine marketing, search engine optimization, search engine advertising, social media advertising, social media marketing, online environment optimization, online advertising, PR SEO and public affairs SEO.
Fun Fact: Clark’s love to hunt is right up there with his feelings for the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues.
Melissa A. brings 20+ years of expertise in creating, strategizing and executing programs that generate results and achieve objectives. She is an innovative, hands-on leader with excellent interpersonal skills that motivate team members while generating strategies and tactics to align with end goals. Specialties include: strategic planning, project management, creative art direction, brand management, writing/editing and internal/external communications. An Air Force brat, Melissa graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.A. in Communications/PR (minor in Political Science). After 15 years of braving the northeast cold and snow, she has finally made her way back to the Florida beaches.
Fun Fact: Traveled to 10 countries in 10 months with her husband, two 11-year-olds and a 5-year-old, each with only one suitcase and a pack on their back. (Also really likes the color blue.)
Mai is a seasoned business strategy, marketing and communications executive with 25 years experience. Most recently, Mai worked at NYC's 14th Street Y and the Visiting Nurse Service of New York as Director of Marketing. She loves working in the non-profit world, but spent the first 15 years of her career in the for-profit sector at some of the world’s largest ad agencies, such as Grey, JWT, Arnold and Saatchi & Saatchi. Her last role was as Vice President, Management Representative at McCann Erickson on Pfizer. Mai is passionate about the power of marketing fueled by data, analytics, market research, insights, sound strategy and creative ideas.
Fun Fact: Mai's 11-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter keep her 4' 10`` body busy. Yes, she is 4' 10.``
Amy has 17 years’ experience in both traditional and digital marketing strategy, specifically in the areas of strategic planning; digital marketing and management; WordPress website development; branding; copywriting; market research; special events; proposals and presentations; client relations; and developing firm identity materials and client publications.
She obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington and received her Master of Business Administration in Marketing Consulting and Strategic Leadership from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business. She has been recognized as a Cox Distinguished Business Leader and has been certified in Customer Service Excellence by the Disney Institute.
Fun Fact: Amy’s favorite pastimes are spending time with her 3 kids, running, reading, horseback riding, and watching Dallas Cowboys football.
Hillary is a seasoned marketer with more than 20 years of experience in marketing strategy, marketing research, and project management. Prior to joining the Red Whisk Team, she collaborated with several St. Louis brand strategy and design firms to develop marketing plans and key advertising messaging for clients. Hillary co-founded CenterBrain, Inc., a new product communication consulting company that developed brand positions for new products totaling over $1 billion in sales over 10 years. Hillary’s key roles at CenterBrain were Director of Research and Account Planning, as well as Lead Moderator.
Hillary uses her marketing background, facilitation skills, and account leadership experience to keep projects on strategy, on time and on budget.
Hillary has a passion for social justice and is involved in several service organizations. She is currently co-chair of the Anti-Defamation League’s A World of Difference Institute advisory board. She joined the board of the National Council of Jewish Women in 2016, and was recently installed as their Vice President of Marketing.
Becky has worked in communications and marketing for 20 years. Having earned a BS in Speech Communication from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, she specializes in content creation, editing, graphic design, project management, branding, and reputation management. Becky is raising two Texas gentlemen and teaching them to two-step, say, “Yes, ma’am,” and open doors for ladies.
Fun facts: Becky is a rabid DIY enthusiast, a bit of a health nut, a personal safety and self-defense instructor, and has a flock of 30 laying hens in her backyard.
Stefanie is an experienced communicator with a strong background in nonprofit communications and marketing. She is very organized and enjoys helping organizations and businesses share their unique story. Stefanie received a B.A. in PR and a M.A. in Marketing from Webster University in St. Louis and has worked at large institutions such as the Missouri Botanical Garden and small nonprofits like Friends of Kids with Cancer.
Fun Fact: Stefanie loves being outdoors hiking, backpacking, camping, skiing, running and even hula hooping! Her appreciation for nature guided her to move to Colorado.
Malinda is a social media enthusiast with a background in both sales and marketing. Prior to joining Red Whisk Creative, she worked in radio sales, direct sales and then as a Marketing Specialist for a national homebuilder. Malinda enjoys the challenge of helping businesses grow and reach their target audience through the power of social media and digital advertising. She believes it is important to stay on top of the constantly evolving social landscape and enjoys learning new ways to help our clients best utilize their social media networks in their marketing campaigns. Malinda has a B.A. in Communication with a minor in Marketing from Saint Louis University.
Fun Fact: Outside of work, Malinda can be found training for her first 5k, cheering on her kids at the soccer fields or completing home improvement projects with her husband.
Katie Robinson, a native St. Louisan, attended the University of Kansas and Webster University, receiving her B.F.A. with an emphasis in graphic design. She has over 23 years of experience seeing through the clutter to produce award-winning, strategic communications. Katie has worked for a boutique design firm specializing in corporate communications, owned her own design company serving a variety of industries and is a past adjunct teacher in graphic design for Webster University. She understands the importance of bringing brand consistency and authentic messaging to all the projects that she touches. Specialties include: annual reports, publications, branding, social media campaigns, displays, signage, packaging and web sites.
Fun Fact: Loves spending her spare time with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
Julie Hohe is our Administrative Assistant. She has a degree in Business Administration and over 25 years of experience in the administrative field. She lives, breathes and loves getting and keeping things organized. She feels the better she does her job, the easier it is for the team she is helping to deliver to their full potential. She has a passion for helping others, supports several not-for-profit organizations and is actively involved in her church community. One of her favorite joys in life is being a mom. She homeschooled both of her boys through high school. She stays involved in their lives and is very proud of them. She enjoys camping with her husband and boys, and chilling on the couch with her labs, Luke and Leia.
Fun fact: Julie was in a Polish dancing group from the age of 7 to age 22 and performed in Poland at the age of 17.
Betsy has a long and productive marketing career including owning and operating a business meeting production company. Her list of Fortune 500 clients included Anheuser-Busch, Monsanto, AT&T and PET, Inc. Betsy also managed an in-house creative team providing design services to a prominent direct marketing company, plus she has led the digital division of a major printing company. For the past eight years, Betsy’s primary focus has been creative direction, copy writing and production management for Red Whisk Creative. Her portfolio includes a diverse array of tactical collateral, including: brochures, signage, murals, direct mail, dimensionals, outdoor display, tradeshow exhibits, set design and staging and much more.
Fun Fact: Loves sci-fi - books and movies. She worked for R. Buckminster Fuller (20th century author, inventor and visionary) as a graphic designer when a student at Southern Illinois University.
